The MNC works closely with nonprofits across the country to develop summer jobs designed specifically for MBA students. The jobs cover a variety of issues (environment, social enterprise, etc.) and functions (consulting, finance, marketing, etc.). Our summer jobs pay $600-900 per week, and although this is below typical MBA salary levels, it is significantly higher than most nonprofit internship salaries. Detailed job descriptions always include supervisor profiles, and are emailed to participating schools on a rolling basis between late January and late March.
We post 45-50 summer jobs each year to subscribing schools. Nonprofits that regularly recruit through the MNC include Acumen Fund, Benetech, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, Goodwill Industries, the Positive Coaching Alliance, REDF and its affiliated nonprofits, and a variety of foundations. Many conservation organizations participate in our Summer Jobs Program with support from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation.
